Dear Mom,

Today is Mother’s Day. I miss you. I love you. I know sometime today we will talk on the phone. I cannot believe you have been my mother for 24 years. Where has the time gone?

I am so thankful for you, Mom. From playing games to talking about Jesus. For showing me Christ by the way you live. By being a great teacher at home (From homeschooling, teaching me chores, to teaching me about Christ). For discipline and raising me up in the Lord. Oh, I can’t forget our laughs. I love you!

This is the first Mother’s Day I will not be able to see you because of our distance. I want you to know that I love you very much! Thank you for being my mom! Thank you for your continual support and encouragement. Thank you for always being willing to pray for me. Thank you for always encouraging me in what my dreams are in that moment–from S.W.A.T. to a NAVY SEAL to a Youth Pastor. That meant a lot and still means a lot.

Thank you for demonstrating what it means to be a woman so I could see what it means to be a man, a

husband, and a father. This would have been much harder if you did not follow dad’s leadership. Thank you.

Thank you for pointing me to Jesus during the struggles in life. I have learned so much and without you, I do not know if I would be the guy I am today. Thank you for loving Jesus. He is all that matters and I am indebted to you for showing me Him daily.

In short Mom, I love you!

Happy Mother’s Day!

Your Son,
